trying my picavet at sutton-on-sea lincolnshire

Had an amazing sunny April day and took it as an opportunity to get some Kite Aerial Photography (KAP) on the east coast.

Sutton-on-sea is a sleepy, tiny little seaside town 9 miles north of Skegness. I got some great results. This is my rig:

I’m really pleased with this iteration which is laser cut in two layers of ply with a 3D printed mount for the GoPro.

Thanks for Craig Plaice of Nottingham Hackspace for help and loan with the 3D printing. I’m really pleased with this part that I designed using SketchUp.

Above is one of the best of around 300 we took. You can see several more in my imgur http://imgur.com/a/0SKEN.
